Take kitchen tools. The campaign to make people eat more home cooked meals has opened up more opportunities for them to create new kitchen appliances and tools. Most of them purportedly make cooking faster and our food healthier and safer.

Who would have think decades ago that the food processor is possible? Now we have a number of versions from the single-task gadget, to the multi-tasker like the Ninja 1100. Each model that comes out is more powerful, more efficient, safer, healthier, etc.
